Position Summary

The School of Social Work hires part-time adjunct faculty with professional practice expertise in the fall/spring semesters or summer school to teach one or more courses in the MSW or PhD program. Curriculum, programs and content areas determine teaching needs.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in social work is required. A doctoral degree or the completion of some doctoral coursework in social work or a related field is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

At least two-years of professional social work experience in direct practice, community practice, management, and/or policy practice is required. A professional social work license and/or other relevant credentials are preferred. Teaching experience in social work graduate education is preferred. Teaching experience in social work practice courses is preferred.
