Position Summary

PlayMakers Scenic Artist is to work with the set designers to carry out technical requirements of the scenic design for all PlayMakers productions and work directly with students in the scene shop as work studies, students enrolled in DRAM 191 and Graduate Assistants to train them in the practices of a Scenic Artist

Education Requirements

Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required; MFA in Theatre preferred.
Will accept a relevant undergraduate degree for candidates demonstrating emphasis on Scene Painting and Scenic Design and 5 or more years of relevant experience in substitution.

Qualifications and Experience

At least five years of experience in a professional theatre as a Scenic Artist.
