Description of Work

Position will provide administrative assistance to WUNC’s news team, which Includes greeting guests for “The State of Things” broadcast, maintaining databases, and assisting reporters. There may be some opportunities for producing or reporting depending on the station’s needs and the intern’s ability. This position is located at WUNC’s downtown Durham office.

Education and Experience

Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Journalism and radio experience preferred.
