Position Summary

The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy within the Department of Allied Health Sciences is searching for a full-time, 12-month tenure- track faculty member. This appointment is for an early or mid-career scholar at the rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Primary responsibilities include research and teaching in the PhD program in Occupational Science and/or Master of Science in occupational therapy (MS OT) program.

Educational Requirements

Earned Doctoral Degree in occupational therapy, occupational science, or related field.

Qualifications and Experience

1) a clear research trajectory, with publications and a history of extra-mural grant funding preferred; (2) teaching experience in occupational therapy or occupational science; (3) ability to mentor PhD students; and (4) ability to contribute to fulfilling the Division’s mission of promoting occupational science and occupation-centered practice.
