Description of Work

This position will work with the Office of Inclusive Excellence (OIE) team to develop web and social media presence for OIE and provide administrative and programmatic support. Duties will include researching Diversity & Inclusion programs at other units, both on and off of the UNC campus; researching and implementing a web and social media presence; administrative support to the Vice Dean and Associate Director for the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and other duties as assigned. Successful applicants will be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite programs and have an interest in diversity and inclusion in the School of Medicine environment.

Education and Experience

Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.

Essential skills/knowledge/abilities:
Experience with Microsoft Office products. Excellent oral and written communication ability. Ability and interest in working with a diverse population.
