WUNC Radio provides quality news, information and entertainment programming to a broad listening audience that includes North Carolina, the United States and the world. WUNC serves North Carolinians from Greensboro to the Outer Banks through a network of five stations, with a weekly cume of 400,000 listeners.

Position Description

The Business Services Coordinator’s main duties include management of daily electronic gift acquisitions for WUNC’s lockbox, credit card and other gift payment applications. The position also responds to donor account inquiries by conducting research, analyzing accounts and performing adjustments. Additionally, the position provides administrative support to the department including accounting (Underwriting) support.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to manage & verify gift payments accurately, efficiently, and interface with multiple systems including credit card and fundraising software packages, Cashier’s Office, Lockbox and web applications. Strong computer skills including electronic data processing, Microsoft Excel, Word & Access. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage simultaneous projects effectively. Prefer working knowledge of UNC financial systems and procedures. Knowledge of public broadcasting, fundraising software and IRS donation rules. Public radio listener helpful.
