Department Description

The Undergraduate Business Program is the largest academic program within UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with an enrollment of approximately 1,000 majors and minors. The Undergraduate Business Program office provides academic and student development services for current and prospective students, as well as faculty and staff. Specific services include: prospective student recruitment and admissions; academic services, including academic advising, course scheduling, and graduation; new student orientation; student life and engagement programs, such as student clubs and organizations, case competitions and other community-building opportunities; study abroad and other global program experiences; and career development programs.

Position Description

The Program Manager is responsible for managing accounts, events, and logistical operations for the Undergraduate Business Program. This includes managing all budget line items and financial transactions for the unit, including invoicing, reconciliation, billing, reimbursements, sole source process, recording and tracking program revenue and expenses, financial reporting, and facilitating annual budget planning. In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for working with faculty and staff to arrange and support program-related travel. The Program Manager will provide logistical support for major UBP events. Further, this role supports the program in the delivery of several large-scale events, such as onboarding of new students and graduation. A portion of this role might also include academic advising support, particularly during peak advising times within the academic year. This position will report to an Associate Director in the Undergraduate Business Program.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
